We take the protection of personal data very seriously. Under sec. 13(1) of Germany's Telemedia Act (TMG), we have a duty to inform you about the nature, extent and purpose of the collection, processing and use of personal data required in executing orders, and about your right to object. This being so, please read the following data-protection statement carefully. Should any change to the statement become necessary, we will point this out clearly on our Internet pages.

1. Scope of data collection and use
   You can visit our Internet pages in principle without disclosing your identity. While accessing our Internet pages, however, certain data (e.g. IP address, pages visited, date and time of day of your visit) are stored for security purposes which might permit identification. No individual use is made of this data, however, meaning that you, as an individual user, remain anonymous. We expressly reserve the right to analyse such information for statistical purposes. We record your personal data (e.g. first name, surname, date of birth, city, phone number and email address) as soon as you log in to our online shop by entering these data. We treat such data in confidence, of course. We use the data mainly in execution of the contract. But following execution as well, we will continue to store the data, if you agree to this. If you do, there is no need for you to input your data again when placing a new order, and you are also shown an overview of all your previous orders. We also use the collected data to tailor our advertising to your personal interests.


2. Right to object
   In setting up a customer account, you expressly agree to your personal data being collected, processed and used. You can cancel your agreement to storage and processing of your data at any time in writing or by email addressed to support@printplaza.com. All personal data are then deleted, unless they are still needed to settle any open contracts at that time or if they must remain stored within the scope of proper accounting principles until the end of any statutory retention period.


3. Cookies
   We create files containing configuration information (cookies) on your hard disk. These are retrieved when you next access our page and make it easier for you to use our offerings; e.g. you do not have to enter your registration data again. Cookies are usually accepted automatically by browsers. However, you can prevent cookies from being stored on your hard disk by making appropriate changes to your browser settings. You will then be notified every time a cookie is sent and you can accept or refuse its storage. As a general rule, you can also use our offered range without cookies, although functionality may be restricted in specific cases.


4. Passing on of personal data to third parties
   Of course, the general rule is that we do not pass on your personal data to any third parties. Other arrangements only apply if
   1. contracting and contract execution require this
   2. you have agreed to any such transmission
   3. an official or court order has been issued or
   4. this is necessary to safeguard our justified credit interests.
   We do not pass on your data to companies that have their registered office outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

   To the extent that our Internet page links to other Websites, we wish to point out that we have no influence over whether their operators adhere to data-protection provisions.


6. Credit checks
   To the extent that this is necessary to safeguard print plaza AG's justified interests and does not impair the client's concerns worthy of protection, print plaza AG shall be entitled to obtain personal data on the client from Germany's Protective Association for General Collateral Security (SCHUFA Holding AG, Kormoranweg 5, 65201 Wiesbaden) with a view to checking the credit standing of the client. In such a case, print plaza AG shall also be entitled to transmit to the latter such data on any conduct of the client contrary to the contract as is permissible following a consideration of all the interests affected. The data established in such a way shall be used for the stated purpose only. The client may at any time obtain information on the data stored concerning the client from SCHUFA.


7. Right to information
   In accordance with § 34 Federal Data Protection Law (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG) you have the right to obtain information about the stored personal data, as well as the right to correct, block or delete this information.


8. Creation of pseudonymous usage-profiles for webanalysis
   This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States . Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.
